THON 2026
Process and Iterations
Strengths:
One of the things that I consider to be a strength throughout this process was being able to sketch, digitize, and scrap versions that weren’t working for different reasons. It mostly depended on the positioning of the characters or the plane and other elements in the given space. Staying objective helped me improve my design.
Challenges:
One challenge throughout this process was the positioning of the characters. I kept wanting to get the figures in the right spot, so that they looked natural and not awkward or robotic. The theme for THON 2026 is “Love Leads Forward”, which was also a factor in how the characters sat; I wanted to show that love through their connection.
Highlights:
What I consider to be the highlight of this process was being able to have a client to work with and get feedback from. I learned valuable skills through that. There was one tweak that the client wanted that I knew wouldn’t fit the style of the design, so I learned to negotiate and give the client options; they ended up going with my solution.
