THON 2026
Logo Creation
THON is a 46-hour dance marathon held at the Pennsylvania State University each year, and it is the largest student–run philanthropic event. It is held in the Bryce Jordan Center each year. The event raises money for pediatric cancer research.
Context:
The Brief:
The client came to me with this year’s theme for THON, “Love Leads Forward”. The brief was to create a logo in a playful style, without using hearts. Me, and 20 other people, submitted logos to the THON executive committee, and mine was then selected.

Recent Events
On December 10, 2026, at THON Family Carnival, my logo was revealed to the public. This was an incredible honor, privilege, and experience; one I will cherish for the rest of my life.
From this moment on, this logo will be used for merch, the Diamond Guide, and stage backdrop, on all of the volunteers’ on-shift shirts, and as the recognizable logo of THON 2026 “Love Leads Forward”.

Trust the Process.
This process was a lot of back and forth, not only with the client, but also with myself. I continued to find things I could improve throughout the process, and found myself starting over a lot. I experimented with position, color, and space, in an attempt to create an engaging, dynamic, and touching logo.
